Good morning to you all. Today I will be reviewing a fairly popular item that im sure a lot of you have heard about. The product & brand is the “NUME LUSTRUM CURLING SET”. Keep in mind guys nume has a variety of different curling iron sets not just this one. I ended up purchasing the lustrum set about a year ago I wanna say. Nume is a well-known brand as I mentioned but is a bit on the splurge side and well I never could bring myself to pay fully for a set, no matter how badly I wanted it. Well one night my cousin send me a link to a website where there was a coupon for 70% off. Umm yes, 70% off guys. So what did I do? Of course, I bought it. When Purchasing the lustrum set it also came with 2 free choices so I ended up choosing the nume argan oil and comb. Note: Youtube has alot of reviews and hairstyles to help you guys out on how to use it.
Okay so first ill start off by reviewing these two product that I received free from them.
- Argan Oil: Guys let me just say I’m in love. Keeping in mind that I’ve tried plenty of oils before but since my hair is naturally really greasy using any oil products just makes it worse. Well not the nume argan oil. P.s I lost the cap :0 haha
Pros: Long lasting product ( by that I mean I’ve had it a year and haven’t even used near half of the bottle & I use this baby almost everyday), no funky smells, no oily feel after drying, no residue, don’t need a lot of product to cover all of hair.
Cons: Not going to lie I have none.
2. Nume Comb: Okay guys I’m going to be honest here I don’t know what the hell this comb is used for. I can’t really do pros and cons with this one because I never used it. Okay, that’s a lie. I’ve used it once or twice just to see how I can maybe make it work but it was a total fail. like what is the little clamping thing for? If anyone can help me and let me know what this tool of some sort is that would be delightful and helpful.
Moving along we have the nume case that is obviously free since that’s were the tools are shipped in. So once you remove from box you open the plastic case and your wands are placed in each individual slot. Cool I guess. Nothing crazy but thought I’d share and give the full experience. If you travel a lot (which sadly I don’t and even If I did I usually don’t take hair stuff) than this would be great to store all your tools together and safe.
Now that we have finally reached the review you all came for haha, here it is. Once all the wants are taken out, this is what you will receive for this set. You get 5 wands in total, all different shapes and sizes to accommodate any hairstyle your trying to achieve. I’m going to be real when I say that I havent quite used them all because usually im in a rush doing things that I typically use the wand that’s already attached which is the thickest size. Reason being is because with the biggest wand I get loose curls and can quickly do my hair with thicker sections and still comes out looking great. Now I have tried the other wands but they are a bit more time-consuming although the hair styles do come out nice as well. Really just depends what you want and what you are looking for is all. So far nothing has gone wrong with the set, I love it, im satisfied and believe you all will be to if you decide to purchase, I recommend it and it heats up fairly quickly.
